Can I buy an Inclino motor and hook it up to a MF zoom control or would I be able to use the impero in a bus config
with the FF setup?

thanks

Phaz,  The microforce will not work with our setup.  We struggled with the decision to abandon tried and true designs from other manufacturers and the main reason we decided to go down the path we chose was to allow for maximum versatility in the future.  Our design will allow us to make more full featured products than whats currently offered on the market and we will be able to package our solutions into designs that are much smaller than what you are used to.

As soon as we get our full product offerings out in the next few months I think you will be pleased.... we have a number of products relating to ENG/EFP as well as cine accessories so we should have a product that will meet or exceed the performance of the microforce.

Hopefully others will realize that their designs are flawed and start supporting your motors :-)

I wouldnt say their designs are flawed... just old.  There doesn't seem to be much innovation happening.

We will have a microforce-like device shortly after shipping Impero and Inclino.  Look for it by the end of the summer.

Till the end of the summer, can I use Impero with another motor or is that a little dicey to try?

Our control system is totally different than anything else on the market.  No one elses controllers will work with our motors and our controllers will not work with anyone else's motors.  Its not because we are trying to make things proprietary, its that we needed to do something completely different to get the level of functionality and integration that we now have.

Sorry I should have posed this question better, By another motor I meant another inclino motor. So I would have 2 inclinos
hooked up to Impero, one for focus and one for zoom. Can impero handle both focus and zoom now, one at a time, I know as of now they do not work at the same time, or is inclino just for focus now.

Thanks

Impero can control three motors one at a time with the control knob.  You can jump over to Iris or zoom at the press of a button.  There are also two preset positions that you can assign any axis to.... so you can assign a position to Iris then jump over to focus and at any time press the button to have the Iris move to that preset position.  Essentially we can control all three motors simultaneously by using these presets. The speed and easing betweem positions can be tweaked as well.

see that!! i knew there was a reason I bought your stuff!! so focus pulls at the end of a zoom are a no brainer now! time to buy another motor and cable....which will ship with the already placed order no?

I would love to be able to use this setup with my Fuji HD lens. any plans to make a cable for HD lenses?

Thanks
