I had the same problem and couldn't find a simple plate/adapter that would solve the issue.  You can have a machine shop channel a block of aluminum to act as a riser, along with longer stainless 3/8" or 1/4" bolts to feed from the V20 quick release plate, through the "custom" adapter and into the VF 15mm bracket.  I made something similar for my Libec and 2060 heads but they will not fit a V20.    Here http://dpwinters.com/products/  Not trying to sell my own stuff here... just trying to be helpful.

I had an adapter block made up which would work with a V20, but I don't have photos of it.  Send me a message if you want to see  and I'll snap photos when I'm on the camera truck tomorrow.

Just wondering if anyone has run into the same problem. Set-up: Sachtler video 20, 5D in powered cage, 15mm rod adapter on bottom of cage, ZE primes and FF5 from Arri. Problem- because the plate ( front lip)of the sachtler is so long and the ZE primes are fairly short, you can't get the follow focus back far enough to make contact with the gear (on lens) on the lens BECAUSE the tie down screw on the FF hits the front of the sachtler plate. Just wonder what people are doing for a spacer or riser block to INCREASE the distance between bottom of 15mm rod bracket and quick release plate. Must know-have a ton of work coming up with these combinations. Any info appreciated
K.C.

Curt!!!  Just tell us something man!  You've opened this thread and apologised for lack of communication and just continued with the same lack of respect for your investors.
I don't think you grasp how much goodwill and patience you could foster in your customers/investors with a little respect and sharing of information.  Doesn't matter how small or seemingly inconsequential - any kind of communication is better than silence.
The talk of further refund requests and even litigation is increasing every week over at Reduser.  You need to change your attitude or things could get seriously nasty for VF.

I got an email from Curt the other day with some info:

We are in the process of getting a new CNC (Leased) to bust out the parts we need for the motors.  My goal is to have working units in the next couple weeks ... [snip] provide an upgrade to the new "Pro" motors.  I'll be posting some more info in the next week ... [snip] I do believe that you are going to have the best system available on the market when we ship this to you.

Seriously Curt... "First off, we want to publicly apologize for the consistent lack of communication with our customers."

Five weeks since we heard anything?!? No wonder people cancel their orders and want their money back. You keep neglecting your promises about communication all over again.  Undecided
